Look what I found cuddled up to my sneakers when I got to work yesterday - good thing my hero was off and could come rescue me and take the bugger outside before it fully woke up. Creepy - you should see the teeth on those things. No wonder they make horror movies about them......

Gratitude

What better day than Sunday to post our gratitude:

Sunshine, Nathan being home, fishing, learning to clean fish, getting the porch swing up AND enjoying it, scrapping, movies, grilled food, family over for dinner, music, clean sheets, frogs croaking, birds singing, enjoying the sprinkles (from above and from a hose ;), smiles, good humor, togetherness.

Thursday Night = Cleaning Night

Thanks to our wonderful former cleaning lady I now clean on Thursday nights. Some people wonder WHY am I so regimented with cleaning and vacuuming TWICE a week. People, I do not have a vacuum fetish or anything. Check out what my cleaner picks up in a week - that's TWO times of vacuuming the downstairs living area. I tell you, I am normal: this amount of dirt is NOT!

What a weekend...

great news on my Dad, they got all the cancer. Terrible news on a neighbor and friend - a terrible loss. Hugs and prayers to that family - I cannot even imagine....... in need of some soul refueling.
