3 amigos

We got to get outside and truly enjoy this beautiful day. Walking, biking, boarding... throwing rocks (in a creek!), climbing rocks, finding big sticks.... makes for a good bonus fall day. Top it off with homemade soup and cream cheese pumpkin muffins and we are a household of happy campers tonight.

More card making

is happening in my house - having such fun being creative. The frog and the lilypads are both popped up. The glaze is still drying...

Menu Planning

Yes, it's true, I menu plan. It makes life soooo much easier - most of the time. Now, I'm not a pro, I don't HAVE to stick to the plan, and some weeks I only plan part of the week and fill it in later (shhhhhhh ;). Here's what I've got for this week:

Sunday: soup and sandwiches for lunch - BBQ and peas with carrots for supper

Monday: Stuffed pork chops, garlic rosemary potatoes, corn and green beans

Tuesday: Baked Potato Soup - new recipe - hope we like it!

Wednesday: Marinated chicken in italian dressing, rice, salad

Thursday: Cinnamon French Toast and sausage

Friday: take out! of some kind, any kind ;)

Saturday: will wait to see what the weekend brings...

Keep in mind, Mom made mac and cheese for the party Saturday and forgot it - SCORE for some time this week!!

DH was working but the three of us managed to get dolled up - check out that stash! We're going to be set for a little while. We drove more than we walked tonight since it was so cold. Brrrrr - nothing like trick or treating while it's snowing!!

Tree Frogs

When we got home from the Lady A concert a couple weeks ago, this cute little tree frog was hanging out on the front porch. Three others were on the kitchen door window. So tiny... he ended up going around the back of the spindle while I messed with taking photos of him. Next morning - they were gone...

Fall touristy time

Well this actually happened last weekend but I had more important pictures to put up - Lady A and David Nail - yeah! Anyway, years ago Nathan and I took pictures here at this sign when we were dating. So we had to stop and do it again. Now to find that old one.....

Red Light

David Nail - love him. Was so disappointed when he wasn't able to perform at the fair because of the weather, BUT he did come on stage and do one song - Red Light - fantastic! Wish I could have seen/heard him with his band....

figured we'd go do some touristy stuff - you know, the stuff you never do if you live right there. Canyon Vista... I know the leaves aren't brilliant but we thought we'd better get out before they were gone by the time Nathan has another weekend off in two weeks.

this warm weather is reminding me of some good times this summer with my brother and his lovely wife at the lake. This is how to spend an evening - wine and appetizers on the deck overlooking the lake.... life IS good!

LOAD

This group I belong to is doing a LOAD motivator (lay out a day not being a load!). I will have to take pictures of my creations this weekend. I have missed two days, not bad for a working mom. Funny how these competitions motivate me! Off to scrap.....

A fall tradition

Caterpillars of course - the boys each took a jar of them into school - had to bring them home over the holiday weekend. We got to see them spinning - DH got to clean them out ;)

Wine Fest

Attended the Wyalusing Wine Festival yesterday. What a good time. Came home with a little wine;) and a lot of memories. Love trying out new things!

Well my rock isn't here - he's in Canada fishing for the next week with friends and family. So I can't take and post a picture of him. I can, however, post of picture of our favorite American Idol - Aaron Kelly. Tonight was Fan Appreciation Night in Sullivan County -where Aaron is from and where we live. He's our rock star! Back to school week

and it's going well so far.... busy yet nice and boys are still happy.

It's been a while

I can't believe how time flies. Yes it's been 3 weeks since I posted here. What have we been up to? Basketball, work, drum lessons, work, scrapping escape, work, dinner, work, cleaning, work, reunion, work, family, work, swimming, work.... ;)

It's time for some covert action in order to try to find the dog's chew toy - now known as the secret camera disguised as a dog toy ;) Mission was successful!
